RÜFÜS DU SOL – I Don’t Wanna Leave (Innellea Remix) Review

Innellea has been setting the world on fire this year, and with another remix of a male vocal track, we were blown away the first time we heard this track. It has now been supported by Pete Tong on Radio 1, and by some of the big name artists, including Dave Dresden on Club Quarantine.

We really enjoy the way the track builds, and uses the RÜFÜS DU SOL vocal to add to this build, with the more trancey synth in the background. We have had this on repeat since hearing it.

Original Lyrics

Head in the clouds
I’m feeling at peace right now
I don’t wanna come back down
I’m checking out
I’ll never get over you
I’ll never get over youI’ve got nowhere to go
Got nowhere to beI don’t wanna, I don’t wanna
I don’t wanna leave right now
So stay with me for one more night
I don’t wanna, I don’t wanna
I don’t wanna leave right now
So stay with me for one more night’Cause this just feels right
I won’t let the lights go down
I don’t wanna sleep right now
Said my goodbyes
I’ll never get over you
I’ll never get over youI’ve got nowhere to go
Got nowhere to beI don’t wanna, I don’t wanna
I don’t wanna leave right now
So stay with me for one more night
I don’t wanna, I don’t wanna
I don’t wanna leave right now
So stay with me for one more nightNow that I want you, I need you
Now that I want you, I need you
Now that I want you, I need you
Now that I want you, I need youI don’t wanna, I don’t wanna
I don’t wanna leave right now
So stay with me for one more night
I don’t wanna, I don’t wanna
I don’t wanna leave right now
So stay with me for one more nightNo, I don’t wanna leave right now
No, I don’t wanna leave right now
